Custom Cricket Bats
Build Your Own Custom Cricket Bat
At CBP we handcraft custom cricket bats built to your exact specification. Choose your willow (English or Kashmir) and grade, then set the weight, profile, shape, handle type, toe type and edge you want, add free knocking-in and a scuff sheet, and finish it with your own stickers. Every custom bat is made by hand in our own workshop and quality-checked before it ships, with free shipping across India.
How custom bats work
Pick your options above and place your order. Our bat-makers hand-select the willow and craft your bat to your spec, a process that typically takes 7 to 12 working days. Because each bat is made to order, you get a blade balanced to the weight and pick-up that suit your game - not a mass-produced, off-the-shelf bat.
Who should order a custom bat
A custom cricket bat is ideal for serious club and match players who know the weight, profile and grade they perform best with, and for anyone who wants a one-of-a-kind bat with personalised stickers. New to custom bats? Message us on WhatsApp with your height, playing style and budget and we will guide you through every choice.

Your custom bat options explained
Model: start from a CBP profile you already like, whether that is the Force, Attack, Saber or EDGE range. The model sets the base shape; everything below fine-tunes it.
Size: Short Handle (SH) suits most adults between 5'6" and 6'0". Long Handle (LH) adds reach for taller batters, Long Blade (LB) gives a longer hitting area, and junior sizes run from Size 2 up to Harrow. Not sure? Our cricket bat size chart matches height to size.
Weight: English willow senior bats are usually made between 1,120 g and 1,250 g (2 lb 7 oz to 2 lb 12 oz). Lighter bats swing faster and suit wristy, quick-scoring players; heavier bats carry more mass through the ball for power hitters. Kashmir willow runs slightly heavier for the same size.
Profile: choose where the sweet spot sits. A mid-to-low profile helps front-foot players on slower Indian pitches, a mid profile is the all-round choice, and a higher spine suits back-foot players and bouncier surfaces.
Handle type, shape and toe: thin, medium or thick grip; round, semi-oval or full-oval handle shape (oval reduces twist on off-centre hits); and a semi-round, rounded or flat-corner toe depending on how you tap and how much you want to protect the toe from yorkers.
Free knocking-in: every custom bat can be sent pre-knocked and match-ready, so you skip the two-week oiling and mallet routine. Read what a pre-knocked bat actually means before you choose.
Scuff sheet: a clear or fibre face sheet protects the blade against cracking and extends its life. Most players choose full fibre for hard-ball nets.
Turnaround, delivery and after-sales
Custom bats take 7 to 12 working days to make because the willow is hand-selected, pressed, shaped and finished for each order. We ship free across India with tracking, and every bat is covered by the CBP cricket bat warranty. If the weight or pick-up is not what you expected when it arrives, contact us within 48 hours and our bat-makers will advise on adjustments.
Custom cricket bat FAQ
How much does a custom bat cost?
The price follows the model and willow grade you select, the same as our ready-made range. Options such as knocking-in and scuff sheet are included free, so the price shown in the configurator is the final price.
Can I put my own name or logo stickers on the bat?
Yes. Add your design or text in the order notes at checkout and we will confirm the artwork on WhatsApp before applying it.
Should I choose English willow or Kashmir willow for a custom bat?
English willow for leather-ball cricket where performance matters most; Kashmir willow for tennis-ball, practice or budget-conscious players. Our guide on English vs Kashmir willow covers the differences in detail.
